What Customers Say About RCA RC930 Caller-ID-Compatible Wireless Modem Jack:

didn't have a manual. the one I found online didn't say I had to press the little button to activate the units. I hooked up a phone and the connection seemed very noisy. I connected it to my DISH Network DVR and it connected.
Product works well and as advertised. I am using this with my DirectTV receiver and so far it is doing the job.
I purchased the wireless phone jack so I could hook up the satellite dish to get pay per view. Works perfectly.
(They don't tell you they charge per month if you don't have it plugged into a phone line, just that you get a credit each month if you do). I read the reviews about how there's too much static when used on a phone line.I wouldn't know. I only bought this thing to get a credit on my DISH network bill. For one year, it doesn't pay, but for a 2-YR contract, it pays itself off after the first year. So, since I didn't have any phone lines anywhere near by, this thing works just fine for what I need.
Installed item same as i did for my Replay TV unit back in the day. It added toomuch static too the line to be able to have a voice conversation.
